Isn't that how all great stories start? Chiki Creatives was born from my love of design, the balance of elements and the clean lines which give structure and flow. Creative & inspiring designs at an affordable price was the concept and I felt that everyone deserved a little designer luxury in their home without it costing the earth.
Working in various roles throughout my career - Graphic Design, Production Business Marketing & Management within corporates such as ACP Media & Waikato University gave me a vast skill base which has come into play across my own business. When my Husband and I decided to start our little family we also decided that it was time for me to work for myself which enabled me to be there for both our girls as they grow up. Initially we started Chiki Designs, a Graphic Design and Marketing company who work with small to medium sized businesses to market and promote their wares. I also started to make gifts for friends, custom designed prints, personalised with family names and special dates. Then those friends started to ask me to make gifts for their friends and then their friends and so on.... and along came Chiki Creatives! I love the fact that my prints can inspire or make someone smile, they can be an affirmation as you leave the house for the day or even show that special person that they got this & to just breathe....
